Terms of Service

Welcome to AuraConnect, a property of EPIK DYNAMIX (PTY) LTD. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AuraConnect mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or by using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. User Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms and to abide by all of the terms and conditions herein.

2. Safety, User Conduct, and Responsibility

AuraConnect is a platform designed to facilitate connections. We are not a party to any interactions between users. While we implement safety measures, including profile verifications, you are solely responsible for your interactions with other users.

You agree to use caution in all interactions and to conduct yourself in a lawful and respectful manner. You understand that AuraConnect does not conduct criminal background checks on its users.

AuraConnect explicitly disclaims any and all liability for the actions of its users. You agree that you are solely responsible for your safety. Under no circumstances will AuraConnect, its affiliates, directors, or employees be liable for any damages whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, general, special, compensatory, consequential, and/or incidental, arising out of or relating to the conduct of you or anyone else in connection with the use of the Service.

Crucially, the use of our Service for any illegal purpose, including but not limited to facilitating human trafficking, prostitution, or any form of exploitation, is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of your account and reporting to the relevant South African law enforcement authorities. You, the user, bear full and sole legal responsibility for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws.

3. Subscription Services, Payments, and Refunds

AuraConnect offers several tiers of service:

  • Aura Spark: Our free tier, which provides limited access to core features.
  • Aura Glow & Aura VIP: Our premium subscription tiers, which offer enhanced features as detailed on our Pricing page.

Payments for premium subscriptions are processed through our designated third-party payment gateway. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly) as selected by you at the time of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it through your account settings prior to the renewal date.

Refund Policy: All payments made for premium subscriptions are final and non-refundable. As you receive the full benefit of the digital service immediately upon payment, there is no "cooling-off" period. If you choose to cancel your subscription, you will retain access to the premium features until the end of your current billing period, after which your account will revert to the Aura Spark (free) tier. We do not provide refunds or credits for any partial subscription periods or unused features.

4. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, AuraConnect and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on AuraConnect. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from AuraConnect for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

5. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
